The Hearing Committee of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society (the “Society”) will hold a hearing at a date and time to be determined, regarding charges against Donn Fraser, a member of the Society.
The Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society is marking one year since the release of Regaining Trust: The Ruck Report with the launch of a new dedicated site showcasing its ongoing implementation progress.
The NSBS has implemented a mandatory requirement for lawyers who handle client funds to complete the Federation’s online Anti-Money Laundering course.
The NSBS Council has approved the appointment of three new Public Representatives to join their ranks: Kehinde Akintola, John MacGillis, and Betty Thomas.
