Notice of Hearing: Jeffrey Lattie

The Hearing respecting charges against Jeffrey Lattie, a member of the Society, will be held on Monday, April 22, and Tuesday, April 23, 2024, commencing at 9:30 am, at the Society’s offices, Suite 800, Cogswell Tower, 2000 Barrington Street, Halifax, NS.

The Hearing will be open to the public in accordance with Section 44(1) of the Legal Profession Act.  Note that, at any Hearing, preliminary motions, regarding publicity ban or otherwise, may be heard and/or a settlement agreement may be proposed.

Sanction Decision – Christopher Ian Robinson

A Hearing Panel of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society issued a decision on February 17, 2023 finding Christopher Ian Robinson guilty of professional misconduct. A hearing to determine sanction was held on November 14, 15 and 27, 2023, and the Hearing Panel has now issued its decision and resolution on sanction.

Notice of Adjournment of Hearing

The hearing respecting an appeal of a Credentials Committee decision to deny an Application for Reinstatement, scheduled to commence on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 has been adjourned, with consent of the parties, by Order of the Credentials Appeal Panel of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society dated January 24, 2023.  New dates for the resumption of this hearing will be determined as soon as …
