Decision on Application to Vary or Rescind Sanction – Lyle Howe

A Hearing Panel of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society issued a decision on July 17, 2017 finding Lyle Howe guilty of professional misconduct and professional incompetence. The Hearing Panel issued its decision and resolution on sanction on October 20, 2017. On September 16, 2023, Mr. Howe applied to rescind or vary the Resolution Order. The Hearing Panel has now issued its decision on this application.

Notice of Adjournment of Hearing: Ian Gray

The Hearing respecting charges against Ian Gray, a member of the Society, scheduled to commence on June 17, 2024, has been adjourned by decision of the Hearing Panel of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society dated May 9, 2024.

Sanction Decision – Christopher Ian Robinson

A Hearing Panel of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society issued a decision on February 17, 2023 finding Christopher Ian Robinson guilty of professional misconduct. A hearing to determine sanction was held on November 14, 15 and 27, 2023, and the Hearing Panel has now issued its decision and resolution on sanction.
