Fall 2026 Provincial ABC Advertisement Campaign

Looking for an opportunity to serve your community, make a difference and expand your professional network?

The Government of Nova Scotia is seeking people from diverse backgrounds and communities to serve on agencies, boards, and commissions (ABCs). Participating on an ABC is an opportunity to have input on issues that matter to you and to help unite communities through public service.

You can now apply to volunteer for various roles across more than 130 ABCs, including numerous self-regulated health professions boards, various agriculture boards, the Nova Scotia Assessment Appeal Tribunal, University Boards of Governors, the Technical Safety Advisory Board, the Advisory Board on Public Archives and the Shubenacadie Canal Commission.

All Nova Scotians are encouraged to apply. Although applications are accepted year-round, applications for the current list of board opportunities are due by Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
