On October 5th, the Society launched its new NSBS Law Library website, featuring new online resources and research guides for its members.
This expansion of the NSBS’s library services is part of an ongoing revitalization project that seeks to modernize and expand the library’s digital collections, while increasing resource accessibility for individuals working in rural practice.
Members of the Society will now have access to the Irwin Law e-book collections, new e-books from Emond’s Working with the Law, Criminal Law, and Immigration Law series, and Hein Online’s Canada Core, which includes their comprehensive collection of legal journals, historical Federal and Provincial legislation, the UK English Reports, and more.
The new NSBS Law Library website also contains research guides and links to free resources accessible to members of the profession and the public.
These new resource subscriptions were purchased in part through the generous support of the Law Foundation of Nova Scotia.
All practicing members and articled clerks should have received an email on October 5th containing instructions for logging into the new resource portal. Practicing Members and Articled clerks can access their resource logins using the following procedure:
