With the approval of Council, LIANS has obtained an Outside Directors and Officers (ODL) Liability Policy for the practicing membership.

A coalition of Canadian law societies has launched “Ours to Protect”— a national campaign aimed at raising awareness about the importance of the rule of law and addressing the threats that face it.

Second VP for 2026-2027 Term: Call for Expressions of Interest

The Society’s Nominating Committee is now seeking expressions of interest for the 2026-2027 Second Vice-President in the months to come. Members from all regions across Nova Scotia are invited to provide recommendations or to volunteer to be considered.

We offer an online form whereby members of the public may provide details relating to a family member’s Will, should they be unable to locate it.
