LIANS Annual Report 2024

The Lawyers’ Insurance Association of Nova Scotia (LIANS) has released their Annual Report for 2024. LIANS’ 2024 Annual Report presents an overview of its activities and financial performance for the year ending December 31, 2024, and outlines its direction for future initiatives.

Opportunities and Calls for Interest

Bryony House seeking Board Directors

Bryony House is seeking a lawyer/legal professional to join their Board of Directors. Bryony House is a non-profit, emergency shelter in the HRM serving individuals fleeing intimate partner violence. They are the only emergency shelter in the HRM that serves people and their children.

NSBS Second VP for 2025-2026 Term

The Society’s Nominating Committee is seeking candidates for Second Vice-President. Members from all regions across Nova Scotia are invited to provide recommendations or to volunteer to be considered. We offer an online form whereby members of the public may provide details relating to a family member’s Will, should they be unable to locate it.

We have been advised of the following missing Wills for the 30-day period ending August 15, 2025.
