  • International Women’s Day Tea 2026

    CBA-NS Office

March 8 is International Women's Day (IWD), a time to recognize the progress made in advancing rights and justice for all women and girls, while highlighting the ongoing efforts needed to ensure their full participation in all aspects of society. The NSBS is proud to support the 2026 International Women's Day Tea, hosted by the CBA-NS Women Lawyers Forum (WLF) and the Nova Scotia Chapter of the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers (CABL). This highly anticipated event brings together women lawyers, judges, students, and legal professionals from across Nova Scotia to connect, build community, and uplift one another, while reflecting on efforts to advance women's rights across the world. The event will also feature a presentation from keynote speaker, Chika Chiekwe, Partner at Cox & Palmer and 2024 recipient of the CBA-NS Community Service Award.
