Kim Stanton, BA (Hon), LLB, LLM, SJD, is a lawyer, author and senior fellow of Massey College at the University of Toronto. She was a commissioner on the Mass Casualty Commission. Her lecture will connect findings from the Commission to those of her 2025 report on the BC legal system’s treatment of survivors of gender-based violence, providing a roadmap for breaking the cycle of decades of repeated, unimplemented recommendations in order to offer pathways to safety and justice.
