Associate Lawyer – Atlantica Law Group (Windsor)

Atlantica Law Group is a well established law firm with an office located in Windsor, Nova Scotia though we also service clients within the Valley, HRM and throughout Nova Scotia. We are currently seeking a lawyer to add to our Windsor team.

This is an in-office position and our office operates within regular business hours 8:30 to 4:30 and offers flexibility to our staff to attend any personal matters or appointments.

Our ideal candidate is a Nova Scotia lawyer in good standing. Our candidate is someone who has experience or is interested in establishing their practice in one of the following areas of law: Real Estate, Wills and Estate Planning, Corporate law and family law and have the ability to work independently to manage files from beginning to completion.

Our ideal candidate will have experience communicating with clients, real estate agents, referrals, and other staff in a courteous and professional manner.

Your responsibilities of the job will include:

  • Maintaining and managing your own files;
  • Working independently in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines;
  • Collaborating and working with a team of colleagues and community partners;
  • Providing professional and prompt communication and legal advice to clients in various areas of law; and
  • Drafting legal documentation and correspondence.
