IESO Nova Scotia – Risk & Compliance Specialist
IESO Nova Scotia is seeking a Risk & Compliance professional to join our growing team and support the organization in meeting its legal, regulatory, market, reliability, and enterprise risk obligations.
Reporting to the General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, this role will support compliance monitoring, enterprise risk management, regulatory and reliability requirements, internal reviews, risk reporting, and Board-level governance activities. The successful candidate will work closely with teams across the organization to interpret complex requirements, identify and manage emerging risks, and support Nova Scotia’s evolving electricity system.
The ideal candidate will have experience in enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, or reliability compliance, preferably within the electricity, utilities, or critical infrastructure sectors. Knowledge of NERC Reliability Standards, electricity markets, utility regulation, or experience with an ISO/RTO environment would be considered an asset.
