A Hearing Panel of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society issued a decision on July 13, 2026, finding Jeffrey Lattie guilty of professional misconduct, professional incompetence, and conduct unbecoming.
Pursuant to subregulation 9.14.11, a hearing on sanction will be held on September 18, 2026, commencing at 9:30 am, at Delta Hotels Halifax Downtown, 1990 Barrington Street, Halifax.
The Hearing continues to be open to the public in accordance with Section 44(1) of the Legal Profession Act. Note that, at any Hearing, preliminary motions, regarding publicity ban or otherwise, may be heard and/or a settlement agreement may be proposed.
