On February 27, 2026, Council approved the amalgamation and update of two Law Office Management Practice Standards.
Previously known separately as the Record Retention Standard and the Maintenance of Electronic Data Standard, both Standards have now been amalgamated into the new and updated Record Retention and Maintenance of Electronic Data Standard, which is now available for review on the LIANS website.
