Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office and complementary document creation and management applications, typing, paper and electronic file management, and accounting software, ideally PC Law. Excellent organization skills and the ability to work with minimum supervision are required. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills and sound judgment with a high level of professionalism, interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion. Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a team environment, establish priorities, meet deadlines and adapt to new procedures.
Property Paralegal
The ideal candidate will have significant property law experience and be a graduate of a legal assistant or paralegal program. Duties and responsibilities include drafting and preparation of correspondence and closing documents for a high volume of purchase, sale and refinance files; experience with LRA/migration work necessary. This position works in a team environment and candidates must demonstrate an ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly and efficiently to changing workloads and demands.
