Following a 15-day election period, the results for the 2025/26 NSBS Vice-President Election are now available.
Thank you to all those who took the time to vote and do their part to contribute to the future governance of the Society.
The successful candidate for Second Vice-President is Patricia Jones.
Ms. Jones received 441 votes (53%), with runner-up, Stacey Gerrard, receiving 395 votes (47%). Â
Voter turnout for this election was 22.45% with 836 of the total eligible 3722 voters casting their electronic ballot.
Patricia Jones – Second Vice-President 2025/26
Patricia Jones is the Managing Lawyer at Nova Scotia Legal Aid’s HRM Duty Counsel Office, where she has worked since 2006 in criminal defense and duty counsel roles. She is dedicated to advancing access to justice and contributes to policy and governance within the legal profession.
