
The Provincial Court Act was recently amended to expand the membership of the Judicial Council.
Section 16(1)(d) provides that, in addition to the President, Society Council shall appoint four individuals with at least five years’ experience as practising members.
If you are:
- a practising member with at least five years at the bar, and
- interested in becoming an appointee to the Nova Scotia Judicial Council for a two-year term,

- A brief expression of interest (maximum 1 page)
- A brief resume (1 – 2 pages)
- A completed Skills & Attributes Matrix
The Nominating Committee will review all applications received and put forward four (4) names to Council for approval.
