The NSBS Council 2025 District results are in, with applicants being acclaimed in three of four districts.
Halifax District Acclamations
As there are four positions in the HRM District, the following applicants have been acclaimed.
- Fraser MacFadyen – Stewart McKelvey
- Patricia Jones – NS Legal Aid
- Glenn Hubbard – NS Public Prosecution Service
- Robert Kennedy KC – NS Public Prosecution Service
Cape Breton District Acclamations
As there are two positions in Cape Breton District, the following applicants have been acclaimed.
- Nicholas E. Burke – Lorway MacEachern McLeod Burke
- Christopher T. Conohan – Khattar & Khattar
Southwestern District Acclamations
As there are two positions in Southwestern District, the following applicants have been acclaimed.
- David Hirtle KC – Hirtle Legal Services
- Nicole MacIsaac – Valley Family Law
Central District
There were no applications in Central District. The two vacancies will be filled by a process to be determined by Council. More information will be provided following At-Large elections.
At-Large Elections
There will be a call for three At-Large positions starting on March 17, 2025.
