The Hearing Committee of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society (the “Society”) will hold a hearing, at a date and time to be determined, respecting charges against Ian Gray, a member of the Society.

The Society charges Ian Gray, of Halifax, Nova Scotia with professional misconduct and professional incompetence in that he breached provisions of the Code of Professional Conduct (the “Code”), and the Legal Profession Act (the “Act”) and the Regulations made thereunder.

The hearing respecting an appeal of a Credentials Committee decision to deny an Application for Reinstatement, scheduled to commence on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 has been adjourned, with consent of the parties, by Order of the Credentials Appeal Panel of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society dated January 24, 2023.  New dates for the resumption of this hearing will be determined as soon as practicable.
