Advanced Family Mediation – Advanced Theory, Skills, and Practice
Embark on advanced study in Family Mediation, building upon the insights and experience gained through our foundational courses in Screening and Family Mediation. This 3-day course will build on and apply what was learned in the Family Mediation Theory and Skills course. At least half of the Advanced Family Mediation course will be experiential learning and will combine lectures, small group work, and role plays, to cover issues such as: Advanced issues in Family Mediation Bias Cultural fluency Working with high conflict families Dealing with impasse Drafting Practice management A Family Mediation from start to finish Cost:Â $1,000 Multi-course discount:Â Deduct $100 off the price of your second, and each subsequent, course. Learn about family systems and family related dynamics, and the impacts that separation and divorce can have on families. Criminal Law Symposium: Mastering the Art of Criminal Litigation
CBA-NS is pleased to announce the 2025 iteration of our annual Criminal Litigation Symposium: Mastering the Art of Criminal Litigation. This year, the conference will focus on criminal litigation in the Nova Scotia Provincial Court system and will equip practitioners with effective trial techniques and advocacy strategies. This conference is intended for criminal litigators at any stage of career, with sessions on cross and direct examinations, the psychology of criminal law practice, and insights from the Provincial Bench. A short networking reception will follow the conference.
