Wagners, an established personal injury litigation boutique in downtown Halifax, is seeking a lawyer to join its class action practice group.
Widely seen as Atlantic Canada’s most active plaintiffs’ class action firm, Wagners acts for individuals and class members in complex, often high-profile litigation, locally and nationally. Our class actions address diverse and interesting subject matter, including cases involving institutional abuse, pharmaceuticals, environmental issues, privacy breaches and other cases that raise important access‑to‑justice and public accountability issues.
The role offers the opportunity to join a collaborative team of experienced litigators on important social justice issues.

The ideal candidate:
- Has 3 or more years of litigation experience (class action experience is preferred but not required)
- Has been called to the bar in Nova Scotia, or is eligible to be
- Enjoys legal research and writing
- Is comfortable in court, or is keen to develop courtroom experience
- Has strong legal writing and research skills
- Is curious, collaborative and not afraid to ask questions
- Is organized
- Enjoys working closely as part of a team
