From November 25 to December 9, 2025, the Society will be conducting an election for the position of Second Vice-President (2nd VP) for the 2025/2026 Council year, in accordance with Regulation 2.6.5. of the NSBS Regulations.
On October 24, 2025, Council put forward Patricia Jones as its nominee for 2nd VP. Nominations were then reopened until November 10, 2025 for individuals wishing to run in opposition to the nominee.
During this period an additional candidate has been nominated.

The election will begin on Tuesday, November 25 at 8:30am (AT) and closes on December 9, 2025 at 5pm (AT) .
All votes will be conducted electronically via an online ballot, and all members of the Society who are not suspended are eligible to vote.
The successful candidate will become First Vice-President in June 2026 and President in June 2027.
