Wellness, Self-Care & Balance

This is now recognized as an extremely important subject, best handled via prevention.

You can help prevent the demands of your job and your other needs from getting “out of whack,” or restore balance by deliberately improving your time management – but make sure to plan and take lots of downtime, restful vacations and other activities that are not work. Please see the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society resources on Time/Priority Management/Productivity.

Consider, as an employer, deliberately adopting policies and creating expectations that encourage your employees and yourself to remain healthy.
