Connect with colleagues across the province and contribute to your profession on the Society’s Council
The Society’s Nominating Committee will nominate a candidate for Second Vice-President in the months to come. Members who reside outside of the Halifax Regional Municipality are invited to provide recommendations or to volunteer to be considered.
As the Second Vice-President, you’ll help lead the Society and lend your voice and unique insights to decisions that impact Nova Scotia’s legal profession. The Second Vice-President has unquestionable integrity, respect for others, leadership and communication skills, strategic thinking, consensus building, and is committed to the Society’s purpose and strategic direction. The 2024-2025 Second Vice-President will be elected in March 2024 and will begin their term at the Annual Meeting in June 2024. The successful candidate will become First Vice-President in June 2025 and President in June 2026.
