A Hearing Panel of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society issued a decision on January 12, 2021, finding Adam Rodgers guilty of professional misconduct.
A hearing on penalty was held on February 8, 2021, and a decision was issued by the Hearing Panel on March 22, 2021.
A continuation of the hearing on penalty was held on May 7, 2021, and a decision was issued by the Hearing Panel on May 14, 2021.
Pursuant to Section 45(4)(m) of the Legal Profession Act, Mr. Rodgers has made application to further vary the terms of the penalty decision and a further continuation of the hearing will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021, commencing at 9:00 am via Zoom.
The Hearing continues to be open to the public in accordance with Section 44(1) of the Legal Profession Act.
