Extend Your Legacy into Health Care: Public Representative Opportunity
After years of honing your own craft and rising through the ranks, you may be ready to push into new territory. And there is no better way to accomplish this than by influencing the care Nova Scotians receive from nurses.
As the largest regulatory body in Nova Scotia, the College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotia is looking for leaders to represent the public on one of three nursing conduct committees:
- Fitness to Practise Committee
- Complaints Committee
- Professional Conduct Committee
Both rewarding and challenging, your role will be to help evaluate the conduct of nurses and make decisions that impact the public's safety within the health system.
If you're ready to leave a lasting legacy in your community, apply online by September 29. Honorariums are provided.
