NSBS Council is pleased to report it has accepted the Nominating Committee’s recommendations to appoint Michelle Kelly, KC as First Vice-President of the Society, and to nominate Candace McCarthy as Second Vice-President of the Society—both for the 2024-2025 Council year.

The Nominating Committee nominates lawyer Shannon Mason as the Society’s Second Vice-President for the 2024-2025 Council year.
The NSBS is delighted to share that four new Council members were appointed at our January Council meeting.
Morgan was acclaimed as Second Vice-President after the nomination process closed on April 11. He will assume the post and its responsibilities after the Society’s Annual Meeting. Mark Scott KC will serve as 2023-2024 President and Andrew Nickerson KC will serve as the Society’s First Vice-President.
Terrance Sheppard KC will be joining council as a member in the Halifax District for the remainder of the council term. The Nominating Committee made their unanimous recommendation to Council, which was approved in the November Council Meeting.
