The Complaints Investigation Committee of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society gives notice that, further to H. Edward Patterson’s suspension from practice on June 3, 2024, pursuant to Regulation 4.5.1 under the Legal Profession Act, it has resolved that it is in the public interest to appoint Kelly Mittelstadt as Receiver for the law practice of H. Edward Patterson, pursuant to Section 51(1) of the Legal Profession Act.
