The Province of Nova Scotia invites applications from those interested in serving on the Nova Scotia Assessment Appeal Tribunal. The Tribunal hears property assessment appeals under the provisions of the Assessment Act and renders decisions, which may include ownership, market value and classification of the property.

Each Tribunal member requires a Bachelor of Law(s) and must be a member in good standing of the Nova Scotia Barrister’s Society. Tribunal members must have experience in administrative law; property law; real estate law; civil litigation; criminal litigation and other legal experience.
