Contract Administrator

We are currently seeking a Contract Administrator to join our growing team from our downtown Halifax location. This role requires exemplary attention to detail and strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently, set priorities, think strategically and be action-oriented. Our ideal candidate will have worked in a law firm or busy practice and will have experience preparing and managing standard form contracts.

Reporting to our General Counsel, your responsibilities will include preparation of contracts, change orders, purchase orders and other legal agreements in accordance with industry standards and employer’s standard forms. You will liaise with contractors who interact with the organization, building positive relationships and ensuring timely execution of contract documents. You will be responsible for maintenance of the contract filing database and ensure company policies and procedures for contracting are followed. While this position will working primarily within our construction team, it will have duties that touch on other areas of our business, including insurance and leasing.
