The Free Legal Clinic wants you – pro bono!
Have you heard about the Free Legal Clinic at the Halifax Law Courts?
The Free Legal Clinic is for people who want to resolve their legal problems in court by representing themselves but have limited or no experience in the courts.
It offers private one-hour sessions with a volunteer practising lawyer and a law student who can provide free legal advice and information specific to each client's circumstances.
The Free Legal Clinic is now looking for lawyers to volunteer for the winter term, Thursday mornings:
- January 7, 14, 21, 28;
- February 4, 11, 25;
- March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31; and
- April 7.
For more information about the Free Legal Clinic, go to the Courts of Nova Scotia website.
