FRAUD ALERT: Bogus Interac e-Transfer from “Bell Mobility”

A bogus Interac e-Transfer email purportedly from "Bell Mobility” that features a virus-laden link has recently been circulating – example here:

Subject: INTERAC e-Transfer: Bell Mobility sent you money (refund for $200.00 (CAD) #94884DE3)

Hello,

You have received a refund from Bell Mobility for the amount of $200.00 (CAD) for charge back.

Click to accept funds.

Please do not reply to this email.

If the link is clicked and the user does not have anti-virus software or firewall programs on their computer, their system will be infected. As always, links and attachments in unsolicited or unanticipated emails should not be accessed unless the sender can be positively verified, as they may contain viruses.
