FRAUD ALERT: Bogus authentication email from “TD Commercial”
A bogus banking authentication email purportedly from "TD Commercial” that features a virus-laden PDF attachment has recently been circulating – example here:

As a new measure of security, you must synchronize your authentication device before it expires. To prevent transaction delays or possible late and cancelled payments please refer to the attached PDF document attached to this email for more details.

If the PDF attachment is opened and the user does not have anti-virus software or firewall programs on their computer, their system will be infected. As always, links and attachments in unsolicited or unanticipated emails should not be accessed unless the sender can be positively verified, as they may contain viruses.
