The CBA-NS Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity Community (SOGIC) and the NSBS Gender Equity Committee (GEC) invite you to march in the 2023 Halifax Pride Parade on Sunday, July 23. Now more than ever, we are ready to be Legally Proud and celebrate with the broader community, showing 2SLGBTQ+ people that they have representation and a voice within the Nova Scotia legal community. We welcome all legal professionals and their families and friends to march with us under the CBA-NS & NSBS banner.
Meeting time and location will be determined and communicated to all registrants a week before the parade. The parade route is approximately 2 km long – see this map of the 2023 parade route. Please remember to dress appropriately for the weather, wear sunscreen, and stay hydrated. We will have a vehicle with our walking group, so folks are able to take a break as necessary. If you have any mobility concerns, please reach out to the CBA-NS office and we will arrange an accommodation.
