About The Youth Project:

The Youth Project’s mission is to make Nova Scotia a safer, healthier, and happier place for 2SLGBTQIA+ (Two Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, Asexual, +) youth under 26 since being founded in 1993. As a multiservice organization, we host an education team, programming team, and support services team with an aim to further the inclusion and wellness of 2SLGBTQIA+ youth through an anti-racist, anti-oppressive, trauma-informed framework which centres youth voice and community leadership.
