CASHRA National Human Rights Conference in PEI - June 2019
The PEI Human Rights Commission in conjunction with the Canadian Association of Statutory Human Rights Agencies is hosting a national human rights conference June 26-27, 2019 at the Delta Prince Edward in Charlottetown PEI. Presenters will be coming from across Canada to present on such topics as; Litigating the Intersection of Religion and Equality, Monitoring Accessibility in Canada, L’impact des personnalités difficiles sur l’équité procédurale (presented in French with simultaneous interpretation into English), Inaccessible Health Care for Trans Patients, A restorative Approach to Human Rights, Empowering Participants in the Complaint Process, Reporting on International Obligations, Sexual Harassment: Creating a Culture of Safer Workplaces, Human Rights for the Boy in the Mirror, Legal Update (This Year's top human rights cases), Balancing Access to Justice with Procedural Fairness, Accommodating Support Animals, Innovative Approaches to Address Systemic Discrimination in Policing and Corrections, Matson & Andrews, Human Rights Success Stories.
