Senator Kim Pate, C.M., who earned a law degree at Dalhousie in 1984, is the former executive director of the Canadian Association of Elizabeth Fry Societies, a position she held for 25 years. A member of the Order of Canada and the recipient of five honorary degrees, Senator Pate has been recognized for her extraordinary advocacy work on behalf of women and girls who have been criminalized or incarcerated.

This free public lecture will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. in Room 105 of the Weldon Law Building at the Schulich School of Law.
