Adjudicators – Small Claims Court of Nova Scotia
Our goal is to be a diverse workforce that is representative, at all job levels, of the citizens we serve. The Government of Nova Scotia has an Employment Equity Policy and we welcome applications from Aboriginal People, African Nova Scotians and Other Racially Visible Persons, Persons with Disabilities and Women in occupations or positions where they are under-represented. If you are a member of one of the equity groups, you are encouraged to self-identify on your application form.
The Department of Justice wishes to receive applications from practicing members with a minimum of seven years at the Bar (in good standing with the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society).
There are immediate Adjudicator openings in the following Counties: Cumberland, Antigonish, Kings, Colchester and the Halifax Regional Municipality area for applicants who are interested in an appointment as a Small Claims Court Adjudicator.
The Department of Justice also encourages applicants to apply to any other area to which they have an interest in being assigned in order to be considered as future openings occur.
Applications must be submitted to Kendra Shields by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, by fax at 902-424-0551, or by ordinary mail at Halifax Provincial Court, 5250 Spring Garden Road, Halifax, NS B3J 1E7 by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, July 30, 2018.
