Our Real Property team is seeking a Property Paralegal to join our Halifax Office. Responsible for assisting in all aspects of commercial and residential property files, the incumbent will assist with share and purchase transactions and commercial financings by reviewing and drafting closing documents, including resolutions, officers’ certificates, security documents for financings, and will also prepare closing books and draft reporting letters and opinions. In additional to the commercial duties, the incumbent will be required to assist with residential real estate transactions. 

The ideal candidate will have a Paralegal or Legal Administration diploma or other related education, with experience in a legal support role. They must excel in a demanding, high-pace environment, be highly detail-oriented, and be flexible to changing priorities. The successful candidate will have exceptional technology skills, with proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office and legal billing systems. As the liaison between the Firm and clients, the incumbent will have exceptional communication skills, a special focus on client service and the highest degree of professionalism. Working in a team environment, the successful candidate will be strong team player and have high personal integrity. Commercial property experience will be considered an asset.
