Legal Aid Nunavut seeks criminal lawyers

The Legal Services Board of Nunavut (Nunavut Legal Aid) is hiring lawyers with a minimum of 3-5 years criminal law experience, preferably in a legal aid setting. Positions are based in regional clinics in Iqaluit, Rankin Inlet and Cambridge Bay.
We are looking for experienced lawyers ready to use their skills in new ways and to contribute to a growing justice system. The work is pioneering, the impact is profound – and not just for our clients.
NLSB offers a generous salary based upon year of call ($90,000 to $130,000), plus generous benefits including Northern Living Allowance, vacation travel assistance, housing subsidy, RRSP matching program, extended health and dental coverage, and one fully paid attendance at a conference each year.
