The Nova Scotia Annotated Civil Procedures Rules website has been taken down.
The Courts of Nova Scotia provide an unofficial, searchable, web-based version of the Rules with contextual links to related forms in interactive (fillable) PDF and MS Word format.
To keyword search Rule provisions, use the search box on the right side of the page.
In the event of a discrepancy, the forms in the consolidated Civil Procedure Rules are the official version.
While the Courts provide an unofficial French translation of the Civil Procedure Rules, the forms are available in English only.
Visit Nova Scotia Rules on the Society website for quick access to key resources on the Courts’ website, as well as the table of concordance from the 1972 Rules to the new Rules.
Library & Information Services is working with Lexum and CanLII to migrate the annotations from the Nova Scotia Annotated Civil Procedure Rules onto CanLII Connects, the new platform aggregating online Canadian case law commentary.
Annotations to cases up to October 2013 that consider provisions of the current Rules will go live on CanLII Connects by mid-September 2015. The Society will not continue to publish annotations.
For more information on these changes, see the announcement in the April 13, 2015 issue of InForum.
