New maps: The Environmental Noxiousness, Racial Inequities & Community Health Project
The Environmental Noxiousness, Racial Inequities & Community Health Project (ENRICH) has developed a new interactive, open-source, community-based map online, as well as a tutorial on using the map and an explanation of its features.
The map shows the proximity of landfills, waste sites and other environmental hazards to African Nova Scotian and Mi’kmaw communities throughout Nova Scotia.
The ENRICH Project thanks Beau Ahrens (Research Assistant) for creating the map and Dave Ron (Volunteer Research Coordinator) for developing the tutorial and posting the map online.
