Folk Law Inc., located in Liverpool, Queens County, Nova Scotia, is seeking an Associate Lawyer, primarily for real estate and Estate work, but experience in other areas, such as corporate, family law or litigation, would be an asset also. We are a busy smaller firm with a collegial work environment, and with excellent and experienced support staff.
Liverpool has many amenities for a smaller town and is still not too far from the city (approximately 1.5 hour drive). It is a great place for anyone who enjoys beaches (including renowned natural wonder Carter’s Beach), surfing, swimming in lakes or the ocean, hiking and camping. Liverpool is the home of the Astor Theatre and has a vibrant music and arts scene. It is also a great place to raise a family.
Candidates of any experience level are welcome to apply. Compensation to be negotiated based on experience. Room for advancement over time to partnership can be discussed as well.
