Model Policy on Accommodation – Draft Policy, November 2010 (pdf)
This model policy was developed by reachAbility, with assistance from the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society, and has been reviewed by the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission. It was formulated after a thorough review of policies from various jurisdictions in Canada including law societies, Bar associations, corporations and government agencies. It is now available for adoption by legal workplaces across Nova Scotia.
