IDEALaw is a student run conference hosted every two years by Schulich Law's Social Activist Law Student Association (SALSA) at Dalhousie University. The event brings together activist and legal communities to discuss meaningful solutions to social problems through law. The IDEALaw 2018 conference will be comprised of a reception on March 9th from 5:00pm - 7:00pm with a keynote speech by Dennis Edney, lawyer for Omar Khadr. On March 9th from 9:00am - 4:00pm we will have four panels speaking on access to justice issues, incarceration and prison law, disability law, privacy issues, and Indigenous access to justice. Free and open to the public:
