Understanding the Law of Negligence with Professor David Blaikie, Schulich School of Law

Negligence, or careless behaviour that causes harm, is the most common basis of legal liability. It is a law that governs almost every daily activity: whether you drive a car, run a business, or walk down the street. In this session, we will look at the basic elements of negligence: how is it established, what is the “reasonable person” standard, and who can sue or be sued for negligence?

Join us for MINI LAW SCHOOL to explore these and other intriguing questions.
