Generating Settlement Options and Closing the Agreement

This is an advanced level mediation course teaching the skills for finding solutions and achieving settlement in mediation.  Participants will develop the skills required to formulate a workable statement of the problems to be solved, create multiple options for settlement, choose the best options and close the agreement.

This interactive, experiential 2-day course focuses on steps 4, 5 and 6 of the interest-based conflict resolution process and builds on the communication, active listening and problem-solving skills taught in the prerequisite course.

Participation in this course is credited toward the Certificate in Conflict Resolution Studies.

Cost: $549/$529. Participants enrolled in the Certificate in Conflict Resolution Studies are eligible for the reduced course fee.
